The Colombo Lotus Tower serves as Sri Lanka’s tallest structure which symbolizes both modernity and cultural pride. The Sinhala nickname for this monumental building is Nelum Kuluna (which translates to “Lotus Stupa”).
This tower stands as the 11th tallest autonomous structure in South Asia while holding 19th position globally at 351.5 meters (1,153 feet). It has a total of 13 floors (6 in base and 7 in flower). The structure was finished in 2019 and maintains two primary functions between being a telecommunications facility and an important travel destination.
